I founded Guise Marketing & PR in 1995 with the express purpose of working with small business owners, professionals and non-profits to develop targeted marketing strategies, develop their personal branding, create effective, money-saving marketing campaigns, and achieve mastery at getting known and being visible.

And in recent years, as I looked around and saw how few women were taking part in the key idea-influencing areas of our lives, I expanded my services to shepherd successful women to become influencers and leading thinkers — thought leaders — in their field of expertise.

I started out as a professional video producer/director in 1980, designing and creating corporate identity and instructional video programs for big companies.

In 1991, I branched out to designing and implementing marketing and PR campaigns for small businesses.

As a speaker, I demystify marketing and make it doable. My presentations are jam-packed with stories that make perfect sense to small business owners and burst with ready-to-use ideas.

I came to the marketing side of business through developing and promoting what became a best–selling strength and conditioning fitness video, “Keys To Weight Training.” After the video won 5 awards and got such rave reviews as, “One of the Top 15 Classic Exercise Videos” by Shape and Men’s Fitness magazines, I felt compelled to use this talent to help other small business owners promote their services and products.

  • Born in England, speaks with a British accent, raised in public boarding schools.
  • As a young adult moved to Israel, fluent in Hebrew. Studied drama and performed in Tel Aviv’s primary repertory theatre.

  • Earned Executive MBA at Golden Gate University (San Francisco) in 16 months.
  • Swims year ’round in the icy waters of San Francisco Bay, without a wet suit.

Because no one can know everything, and because I want to bring my clients fresh marketing ideas and endless publicity opportunities, I feed myself a daily reading diet of marketing, business and technology issues. I keep my professional edge by regularly attending educational seminars and workshops.
