Roberta GuiseYou know your name should be on this list, because you have a big idea you want to give voice to.

You think you should write a book, you’re writing a book, or it’s already written, and you’re passionate about wanting to change the way people think.

You want to be invited to present at prestigious conferences, or be interviewed on national media.

And you don’t know how to go about it.

I can help.

YOUR GUIDE TO INFLUENCE

I develop, prepare and transform talented, driven women (and a man or two, of course) who want to be acknowledged as an undisputed go-to, thought leader in their area of expertise.

Some success stories...

A published author had gained visibility in her field while employed by a large firm. She’d recently formed her own business and needed branding guidance, as well as wanting to get her name more broadly known.

I developed her brand as an innovative thought leader so her new company compared favorably with her bigger competitors, while also conveying the nimble advantage of a small, specialized firm.

I got my client’s unusual story on NPR’s Marketplace for a segment on women who are “breaking the mold.” A prospect heard the segment, and contacted her saying, “After hearing you on the radio, I knew that you were the right person for our project!” He retained her, netting my client a mid 5-figure contract. “It was definitely a plum job,” she tells me.

Through other media interviews I garnered for her, helping guide her business strategy, and developing her Web site to accurately present her as a thought leader in her field, her client base rapidly expanded, with her business growing from one to 15 employees in 3 years.

An acknowledged authority in a heavy industry sector who’s writing the second of four books with a niche publisher, came to me to help her focus and consolidate her knowledge and ideas into a branded and accessible body of work.

One of my strategies has been to help her develop articles that showcase her novel and, sometimes, contrarian ideas. These articles have been published in her industry’s leading publications, including those that are peer reviewed.

I’m guiding her as she develops a new, groundbreaking concept. When completed, it will establish her as one of the preeminent thinkers and in-demand authorities in her field.

HOW CAN I HELP YOU?

I guide and advise highly talented, ambitious professional women, consultants, and small business owners who are driven to succeed as thought leaders in their field of expertise.

The San Francisco Chronicle and numerous online publications have quoted me. Catch a snippet of my thinking about what it takes to be a thought leader in my response to a Business Week article on developing one’s personal brand. Read the text
